This Privacy Policy describes how your personal information is collected, used, and shared when you visit or make a purchase from susquehannawoodturners.org (the “Site”).

PERSONAL INFORMATION WE COLLECT

We do not collect any financial information including bank account numbers, credit card numbers, personal identification numbers (PINs), or anything else relating to your banking or credit information. This information is collected by our credit card processing partner (PayPal and/or Square) and is subject to their privacy policies, available at their respective web sites. Our credit card processing partner does not share your personal information with us beyond the status of your payment transaction (I.E. successfully completed or not).

When we talk about “Personal Information” in this Privacy Policy, we are talking both about Device Information and Order Information.

HOW DO WE USE YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION?
We use the Order Information that we collect generally to fulfill any orders placed through the Site (including arranging for shipping, and providing you with invoices, receipts, and/or order confirmations). Additionally, we use this Order Information to communicate with you.

We use the Device Information that we collect to help us screen for potential risk and fraud (in particular, your IP address), and more generally to improve and optimize our Site (for example, by generating analytics about how our customers browse and interact with the Site, and to assess the success of our marketing and advertising campaigns).

SHARING YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION
Your information is not generally shared with any 3rd party site or organization, beyond the minimum necessary to complete our obligation to provide you with services or items you may have requested or purchased. Device information is collected via a partner site, which abides by these terms and conditions when dealing with our customer data. We share basic transactional information with our payment processing partners as necessary in order to complete a payment transaction. Finally, we may also share your Personal Information to comply with applicable laws and regulations, to respond to a subpoena, search warrant or other lawful request for information we receive, or to otherwise protect our rights. At no time is your data sold, exchanged, or otherwise used outside of the purposes stated within this policy.

Please note that we do not alter our Site’s data collection and use practices when we see a Do Not Track signal from your browser.

YOUR RIGHTS
If you are a European resident, you have the right to access personal information we hold about you and to ask that your personal information be corrected, updated, or deleted. If you would like to exercise this right, please contact us through the contact information below.

DATA RETENTION
When you place an order through the Site, we will maintain your Order Information for our records unless and until you ask us to delete this information.

Mission Statement

Our goal is to spread the gospel of the art and craft of woodturning.  We do this through community events such as festivals and craft fairs; and through individual members selling their creations at craft fairs and juried art festivals.

Susquehanna Woodturners is a chapter of American Association of Woodturners.

Meeting Schedule

 

Currently Susquehanna Woodturners meets the second Tuesday of every month at the Harrisburg Woodcraft location, 3831 Union Deposit Rd (Union Square Mall), Harrisburg, PA 17111 and via ZOOM.  Members start to arrive for conversation and camaraderie at 6:00pm.  Meetings start at 7:00pm, and visitors are always welcome.
